Forever Rose is a custom scent developed by Christina in the Catskills of NY. She teamed with a candlemaker to create a soft floral scent that can fill your home. The idea was to encompass all the things that make Christina’s heart sing.

Christina grows a variety of flowers in her small garden and the Rose is the most challenging all around. The image on the packaging is her own David Austen rose named “Queen of Sweden” (after her grandmother Lilly who was off the boat from Sweden). This rose became the center of the idea. She photographs most of her flowers and wanted to use a process called a Polaroid lift to capture the flower and portray it in a painterly style for the branding. The scent of a Rose, can be hard to translate. The Rose actually has a soft comfortable scent you want to bury your nose in. Turning that into a fragrance that feels accurate to the flower was no easy task. In the Fall of 2025 Christina went to the professionals in both Florence Italy and the Southern regions of France. She collected samples of scents she felt achieved finding that balance. She shared all of this with Ben (her candle maker) and together they perfected the recipe. Little more of this, and a little less of that, and the perfume is now exactly what she had envisioned. This candle burns in her own home that smells like her garden year round.

Another fun feature, the vessels are hand shaped and fired in Christina’s home studio. She created the custom glaze, and each candle was made by her. Once the candle has burned down you can keep the vessel as a catch all.

In the end, this one little candle embodies everything Christina loves. A day in her garden, photographing her flowers, and a quiet morning with her ever growing pottery collection.
